"Boston City " depicts skateboarders at play at Boston City Hospital, a favorite street skaters' hangout in Boston. The painting clearly shows Hunter-Cutrona's admiration for Picasso. "Boston City" was reproduced in full-page glossy layouts sponsored by Simple Shoes (with the banner "Support the Arts") in Transworld Skateboarder and Thrasher magazines.
