The Butterfly Assassin is a 7-foot-plus, fully-poseable "robot" with intricately painted "body armor." Hunter-Cutrona conceives it as the creation of a scientist in a future era, who uses it to armor and empower his own brain, separated from his human body, in his battles with the evil, dominant corporations that rule his world. The sculpture is made mostly of plastic foam, painted with acrylic, and is easily moved and posed despite its size.
